I'm No Lady
How tempting it is to make excuses for one's failures! I'm trying to not do that. If a player doesn't have the discipline to follow her own playbook, what kind of success can she expect to have?
My motto: Always be learning. Also: Don't be an idiot.
Spending 1,000 dollars for 3,000 chips isn't good. Play some of the smaller tourneys around town. Harrah's has a well-run bounty tourney where you can make a decent amount of money if you win or even if you're in on the chop and there's a manageable number of people in it. Good players. I think you'd like it. I also played at Binions and liked their tourney. The Nugget has a good tourney as well while you're downtown. The WSOP is only good if the starting is substantial, I think.
Meh, your video did a good job of capturing your disappointment, wow like watching a hostage video.
Just a couple of ramblings.
You can play any two cards you want and when they hit you look like a genius. when they don't well "hee haw".
You made a play, it didn't work out this time, OH WELL. You knew the risk, you went for it. Be happy.
No pro has a "Set Strategy" like I'm going to play tight and hope the deck smashes me over the head. I hope you evaluated the table and determined the best way to get the chips was to hit some tricky draws.
If it was bad play for your table, oh well, your a rookie, smile and move on or the game is going to destroy you.
@Wolynski I'd be happy to see the pictures, by all means email them to me!
@Everyone Please be patient with me if I don't respond instantly to comments or other communications. I am juggling a whole bunch of different balls on this trip!
Let me hear from you! I'm interested in your thoughts on anything I've written. If you'd rather not leave comments on my blog, please email me at cardgrrl.com.

Why second guess the happiness out of yourself?

I thought it might be a cool thing to do to take some photos of you at your table... but no response.
They're not crappy and blurry like Poker Grump's, they're actually really good.
But you're not interested... oh, well.
